AKC Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies. Born January 24, ready for brand spanking new homes during third week of March (this month).
Sire and Dam from Championship lines nationwide and Wales, respectively. Puppies experienced dew claws removed, happen to be regularly wormed, and will have six week shots on March 8.
Chesapeake breed standards accommodate a white spot on chest. This breed comes in several brown colors, from a brown much like a Chocolate Labrador, with a "dead grass" or tan color. The dam is "dead grass" and the sire is darker brown, see photo gallery. The adult dogs is going to be about the size of a Labrador Retriever or Golden Retriever. This is the uniquely American breed, and adults may have curly coats along the back, with slick hair around the head and face. They are faithful pets, good with children, and avid retrievers.
Out of a litter of eight, we have two, beautiful females left, featured in cameo pictures in the photo gallery. One female is lighter brown, and yet another darker brown. They are stunning puppies. We've enjoyed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in Hawaii for more than 25 years or so. We've included some images of our former Chessies throughout Hawaii, to signify our satisfaction from the breed as wonderful pets and good with children.
