I have been raising shih poo's since 2008. I decide to raise them because of my love for both the shih tzu and toy poodle which I also raise. The shih poo's are just a wonderful little dog. I really feel they are the purr-fect family pet.They are both hypoallergenic and non-shedding which alot of families like that idea! My pups when adults are usually 8-12lbs. I like using a toy poodle for the sire of the pups and usually use a shih tzu or shih poo for the Mom. This way I get the smaller shih poo compared to using a mini poodle.

I am lucky as I work out of the home being a pet groomer (Paws-itively Purr-fect Pet Salon)and I have a small boarding kennel. Working out of the home allows me to be with my "kids" 24/7. When I have pups due,they are born in the home,my bedroom to be exact! The pups are raised in my house and will be socialized with people and other animals. When they go home between 8-10wks depending on the individual pup they just move from my home to yours stress free which is my goal.

When my pups go home,they will have had their first set of puppy shots given at 6wks. They will also have been wormed and will have a puppy package to help them and your family get off to a good,stress free start.
