The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a friendly and intelligent breed of dog originally bred in Nova Scotia, Canada for hunting ducks. Tollers have a unique hunting technique called "tolling" and have a distinctive red or orange coat with a constantly wagging feathery tail. They require mental and physical stimulation and excel in various dog sports and activities. Tollers are great family pets and get along well with children and other animals, but may be prone to certain genetic conditions that can be mitigated with regular vet check-ups and responsible breeding practices.
