The Boykin Spaniel is a medium-sized, chocolate-brown hunting breed known for its friendly and intelligent disposition. These dogs are highly active, originally bred for hunting waterfowl and upland game. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation, making them suitable for various dog sports. Boykin Spaniels have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years and are prone to some genetic health issues like hip dysplasia.
