The Dutch Shepherd is a medium-sized dog breed that originated in the Netherlands. They were originally bred for herding and guarding livestock, but have also been used for police and military work. The breed is known for its intelligence, loyalty, and high energy levels. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation to prevent boredom and destructive behavior. Dutch Shepherds come in three coat varieties: short-haired, long-haired, and wire-haired. They are generally healthy and have a lifespan of 11-14 years. However, they may be prone to certain health issues such as hip dysplasia and eye problems. Proper socialization and training are important for this breed, as they can be wary of strangers and may exhibit protective behavior towards their family.
We have males and females dutch shepherd puppies available. This litter is for personal use in the family and we just try to re-home the extra puppies. These puppies interacted and conditioned with children, and farmed livestock. This is a working dog who has to do a job. For more information Please give me a call!
