I have a litter of 4 doxiepoo puppies that I'm looking to find new homes for. They will be available for new families by the end of June. These adorable and affectionate pups come with their deworming treatment completed and their first DHPP vaccine administered.
The DHPP vaccine is a combination vaccine for dogs that protects against several infectious diseases. The letters in DHPP stand for the specific diseases it targets:
1. Distemper: Canine distemper is a highly contagious viral disease that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems of dogs. It can be deadly, especially in puppies.
2. Hepatitis: Canine hepatitis is caused by a virus that primarily affects the liver. It can lead to severe liver damage and other complications.
3. Parainfluenza: Canine parainfluenza is a respiratory virus that can contribute to kennel cough, a contagious respiratory infection in dogs.
4. Parvovirus: Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially fatal virus that affects the gastrointestinal tract. It causes severe vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration, particularly in young puppies.
The DHPP vaccine is typically given as a series of shots, starting when the puppy is around six to eight weeks old. Boosters are given at regular intervals to maintain immunity throughout the dog's life. Vaccination schedules may vary, so it's best to consult with a veterinarian for specific recommendations based on your dog's age, health, and lifestyle.
Additionally, each puppy will come with a small puppy basket containing food, toys, and a cozy blanket. There is a rehoming fee involved, as I want to ensure that each puppy finds a loving and permanent home. If you're genuinely interested, please reach out to me via text for further details. You're welcome to visit and choose a puppy in person. The mother is a long-haired mini dachshund, and the father is a miniature poodle. Feel free to contact me if interested.
