She is yet another huge cuddler, and comes with depression. I cannot keep her within my home a lot longer for that reason problem because i have school and work regular, and so i am barely home. Please contact me via text if you are searching for taking her. Am asking $950 max, or best offer. Price may also be negotiated.
A Basset Hound is a sad-eyed, slow-moving dog, that has maintained its popularity through the years. This is due to its expertise in the hunt, and its docile ways at home.
Serious hunters have long been aware of this deliberate scent hound, who will track his quarry with a sureness, in his own time and in his own way, whether he is tracking deer, rabbits, foxes, or birds. Bassets can make their way through heavy ground cover, and will give plenty of "tongue" (sound to alert the hunter).
The Basset Hound is an exceptionally loyal dog, and some people may view him as stubborn and sluggish. This is not so. A basset hound reacts with a "special" vigor to his true beloved master.
His "True Master" is the person who spends the most time and trains the dog. This is how an unbreakable bond between the dog, and his "True Master" is formed.
Much of the charm and attractiveness of the Basset Hound is his beautiful, magnificent head, which is a complete contrast to the utterly out of proportion body and legs. These features are what make this dog so quaint and amusing. This is a great contrast, which is enhanced by the typical expression of great dignity, intelligence, and the somber expression that is shown in his beautiful eyes.
A Basset Hound is a clown at heart, and love to amuse his audience. He seems to take great pleasure in seeing them laugh. They look at you with such a mournful, dejected stare. This is one reason why they are so perfect as a movie or television family pet.
A Basset Hound is creature of habit. He is easily trained. Just show him what you want a few times, and maybe demonstrate a time or two, and the habit is set for life. He is truly a thoughtful and clever dog that takes great pleasure of his achievements and enjoys his lessons and the attention he receives.
A Basset Hound is not an active dog, unless when he is on a hunting trip. This makes him an ideal house dog. He is not likely to run to the door when the doorbell rings, or when a car goes driving past. A Basset Hound is not one to jump on and off the furniture.
A Basset Hound pup is not especially destructive and is content to sleep in his bed, or with children if allowed, until the children want to play, then the lazy Basset becomes alive. It is next to impossible to annoy a Basset so they are dependable to play with children of all ages!
They make no enemies among other dogs and their mildness enables them to live with all other kinds of pets, even rabbits. With all these qualities you can see why this breed is ever increasing in popularity.
