The Chihuahua is a petite and charismatic breed originating from Mexico, recognized for its small size and lively personality. They have unique apple-shaped heads, expressive eyes, and short or long coats of various colors. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a confident and often bold demeanor, and they can be affectionate and loyal. Their intelligence makes them quick learners, though they can be a bit stubborn at times. Chihuahuas require modest exercise and are well-suited to apartment living. Grooming needs depend on their coat type. They may be prone to certain health issues, and regular veterinary care is crucial. Chihuahuas tend to have a long lifespan, often living well into their teens.
I have two chihuahua puppies who were born on New Year's Day. They are only 5 weeks old and are not yet ready to take home. We have both parents on site. Mom weighs less than 3 pounds. The spoiled lil pups are very lovey dovey and playful.
